4 AM
Since 1967, 558 4 AM has been the “Voice of the Tableland”, covering all major centres of this growth region.
Tourism is also booming due to numerous attractions, from wineries to tranquil lakes. The 4 AM music format is based on variety and aims at the prosperous 35-plus age group. Over 60,000 people live in our primary service area on the Tableland, and our signal can be heard throughout most of Cairns, adding 100,000 potential listeners. 4 AM broadcasts to the vibrant Port Douglas— Mossman tourist region via our AM 1422 transmitter and to the Southern Tablelands on FM91.3.

4AY Country
Back in the 50s and 60s, 4AY in Ayr was the main commercial station listened to in the Innisfail-Tully region.
This unused callsign was adopted by us when we launched Innisfail’s 4AY Country back in the early 90s.
The present 4AY serves the Innisfail region on AM 873 with a 24-hour feast of Australian and international Country Music and feature programs.

Since the mid-90s, 88.7 KIK-FM has been playing nothing but the best in international and Australian Country Music right across the Tablelands from studios in Mareeba.
KIK-FM is a partner to our other Tablelands station, 4 AM. KIK-FM has made quite a name for itself by staunchly supporting local North Queensland and general Australian country artists. We’re actively associated with the Tableland Country Music Festival and the Mareeba Rodeo.
KIK FM has repeaters in Normanton, Croydon and Ravenshoe.
